About us

Dance studio Nautilus was founded in 1993 by experienced dance-director Natália Bártová. As our debut performance we prepared the fairytail-dance-play "The Nutcracker" which was shown in the school Na Korunovační. Since then more dances have been added to our repertoire. Nowadays we could be proud of our achievements. More than 40 dances and 2 dance-plays were created and each year we are coming up with new choreographies.

We do not concentrate on one particular dance style, on contrary, we try out different styles. It is not so boring and each person can find what he favours more. Do you enjoy ballet, rap, break-dance, disco or you like creating your own thing? The doors are open to your imagination. One of our best pieces are "Stranger in Moscow", "Africa", "Hiroshima" and two dance-plays that were previoustly mentioned. For our dances we choose different music-styles from clasic, disco to techno.

We also present our work onstage. For many years have been invited to Bambiriada and different dance-competitions where we placed our-selves in the first third. Further, we participated in Miss Deaf World as guests, Děti Dětem-Vystaviště.
